Flockhart had a terrier mix called Webster that helped her through rough times starting her acting career through her success for 14 years. Sadly he had to be put down due to old age in 2004.

Calista Flockhart is an American actress. She is best known for her leading roles in Ally McBeal, Brothers & Sisters and Supergirl. After high school, Flockhart attended Mason Gross School of the Arts where she she was praised for her acting talent and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1988. The next year she moved to New York City to start auditioning, which saw her get small TV and movie roles. She found more success in theater, with a Broadway debut in The Glass Menagerie (1994). Her first appearance in a major film was in The Birdcage (1996).
She breakout and most iconic role came in 1997 as the lead in the Ally McBeal TV series. It ran for five seasons and won her a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in 1998. Her next big role was playing Kitty Walker in the TV series Brothers & Sisters, which ran for five seasons as well. Currently she stars in the Supergirl TV series, which premiered in 2015 and is set for a third season in 2018. She is also known for her marriage to actor Harrison Ford.
