Cheeto the Rescued Seahorse gets another chance at life

An orange seahorse mistaken for junk food was rescued on Indian Shores Beach in Florida earlier this week. A young girl and her mother were having a day out at the beach when the girl noticed something odd. A seagull flying above her dropped what looked like a cheeto out of it’s mouth.

Steve Irwin was a dedicated conservationist who was known internationally for his television persona.

Animal Abuse Registry in USA to prevent animal cruelty

Animal lovers can celebrate a huge win this year; in certain US states and counties, animal abusers are now registered in an online database, much like sex offenders. The law has been growing in popularity across the country, while some states have voted no, Illinois, New York and Tennessee are amongst the first to enact the registries. Tennessee adopted a statewide animal abuse registry in 2016, while New York and Illinois are implementing them on a county level.
