Ariana Madix and Her Rescue Pets Team Up With ASPCA for ‘The Rescue Effect’ – ‘I Can’t Imagine My Life Without Them’

On top of hosting Love Island USA, the Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix is using her celebrity status for a great cause: Finding pets their forever home! The reality star has officially teamed up with the ASPCA for their “Rescue Effect” campaign, a nationwide effort to champion pet adoption at a critical time.

Each year, approximately 6.3 million homeless pets enter shelters across the country. Madix, a devoted mom to her own two rescues (an 18-year-old cat named Kitty and a 6-year-old pit bull mix, Mya Moon) knows firsthand the joy these animals can bring. “My rescued cat and dog are my best friends and have been there for me through thick and thin,” Madix shared. “I can’t imagine my life without them.”

Through the “Rescue Effect” campaign, Madix will be using her social media influence from August through October to highlight adoptable pets. But she’s also shining a light on the urgent need for people to step up. “There are so many wonderful animals in shelters and rescues in every community across the country waiting for a loving home,” she stated, emphasizing that “when you adopt a pet, you’re not only saving their life, but you’re also making space for other animals in need.”

Recognizing that not everyone can commit to adoption, Madix is also a vocal advocate for fostering. She urges people to consider opening their homes temporarily, an act that can significantly reduce the strain on overcrowded shelters and save lives.
