Steve Martin is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and musician. After a successful lifelong career in multiple industries, Steve Martin was earned five Grammy Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, an Honorary Academy Award in 2013, nominations for two Tony Awards for his musical Bright Star in 2016, a Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, the Kennedy Center Honors, and an AFI Life Achievement Award. Comedy Central ranked him sixth in a list of the 100 greatest stand-up comics. The Guardian named him one of the best actors never to have received an Academy Award nomination. Most recently, he’s costarring with Martin Short and Selena Gomez in the comedy series Only Murders in the Building (2021-).
