Jimmi Simpson is an American actor known for his roles in Westworld (2016–2020) as William and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia as Liam McPoyle.

In Westworld, Simpson played William, working with Ed Harris in a role that explores the boundaries of human and artificial intelligence. In It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, he portrayed Liam McPoyle, acting alongside Charlie Day in the recurring role of a bizarre sibling. In House of Cards (2014–2015), he appeared as hacker Gavin Orsay, collaborating with Kevin Spacey in a political thriller series. Simpson’s role in Zodiac (2007) saw him work with Robert Downey Jr. on a film based on the Zodiac killer investigation. In Black Mirror (2017), he starred in the “USS Callister” episode with Cristin Milioti, focusing on themes of digital ethics.
