Cats and Garage Cats
Jay Leno has had many cats throughout his life and he once even credited cats with being smarter than humans on The Ellen Show with Ellen Degeneres. Leno is a self proclaimed “cat guy” having had over 5 cats throughout the years and many we don’t know about. His car shop where Leno keeps his famous car collection has let in many “garage cats” over the years and his employees have been feeding and spaying them as they come in. A champion of cats, there’s no telling how many cats Leno has rescued in his time.

Jay Leno is an American television host, comedian, and writer. Leno started by doing stand-up comedy before becoming the host of NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from 1992 to 2014. He had a brief break from the show to start the NBC primetime talk show The Jay Leno Show which aired from 2009 to 2010 before being cancelled due to a timeslot and host controversy. In 2014 after Leno’s last show, he was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. Shortly after in 2014, he started hosting Jay Leno’s Garage.
