Diane Morgan
Diane Morgan is an English actress, comedian, television presenter, and writer, best known for her portrayal of the character Philomena Cunk in various television series. She gained prominence with her role in Charlie Brooker’s “Weekly Wipe” and the mockumentary series “Cunk on Britain” and “Cunk on Earth.” Morgan has also played significant roles in other television series, including Kath in the Netflix dark comedy series “After Life” and Liz in the BBC Two sitcom “Motherland.” Additionally, she writes and stars in the BBC Two comedy series “Mandy.”
Morgan’s career in comedy and acting began with small roles, including a part in Peter Kay’s “Phoenix Nights.” She later ventured into stand-up comedy, achieving success in competitions like the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year award in 2006.
