Matthew West
Matthew West is an American contemporary Christian musician, singer-songwriter, and actor. He has released several successful albums and songs and has received awards including the American Music Award, Billboard Music Award, and multiple GMA Dove Awards.
West began his music career with the release of his debut album, “Happy,” in 2003. He has released albums such as “History,” “Something to Say,” “The Story of Your Life,” and “Into the Light.” His notable songs include “More,” “You Are Everything,” “The Motions,” and “Hello, My Name Is.”
Matthew West has collaborated with a wide range of artists throughout his career. He worked with Casting Crowns on the song “Until the Whole World Hears.” His collaboration with Mandisa on “Stronger” helped the song gain prominence. West co-wrote “Tell Your Heart to Beat Again” with Danny Gokey, which became a hit in the Christian music charts. His partnership with Natalie Grant on “Be One” showcased his songwriting skills. West collaborated with Amy Grant, writing the song “Say Goodbye” for her album. He co-wrote “The Day Before You” with Rascal Flatts.
