It turns out strong, independent females are the ones who make Christmas happen every year.
One Twitter user discovered that Santa’s reindeer are actually female, and she wasn’t wrong. Cat Reynolds decided the world needed to know how about these “strong, powerful, underrated women” and we are so glad she did.
MALE REINDEER LOSE THEIR ANTLERS IN WINTER AND FEMALES DON'T THEREFORE SANTA'S SLEIGH IS ACTUALLY PULLED BY A TEAM OF STRONG, POWERFUL, UNDERRATED WOMEN!!!!! YOU GO, GIRLS!! I SEE YOU!!!

Her claims are backed up by science. Male reindeers shed their antlers in the winter and are bald by Christmastime. Females, however, keep their antlers year long – so Santa’s sleigh must be driven by some badass reindeer babes. Take that, patriarchy.
